Ok, I’m sorry. For you men out there reading, feel free to tune out for a bit. But I just have to mention The Bachelor. Who’s watching this season? I can’t say that it’s been my favorite, but it’s definitely been pretttty entertaining. Of course, there’s all the drama and history surrounding Nick, to start with. He’s definitely one of the more controversial bachelors in the history of the show. And then, that group of ladies! To be honest, I was pretty sceptical of the pool of contestants going into it, but a few of them have grown on me. We’ll see how it all unfolds on the finale next week!

I’ve been watching The Bachelor for an embarrassingly long time, I’ll admit. In college, a big group of us girls used to crowd in front of the TV with a big bowl of popcorn. Now, I’ll usually watch with my roommates, and there’s usually red wine involved. I kinda love this weekly ritual, ya know? Especially to start off the week – nothing like a little trashy reality TV to look forward to on a Monday!

Girls’ night, birthday brunch, picnic in the park, or an outdoor summer barbecue – my pick, every time, would be this combination of light white wine, boozy brandy, sweet simple syrup, and fresh fruit. Today I’ve combined crunchy green apples, sweet oranges, tart lemons, and juicy raspberries – pretty much the epitome of spring! Whatever festivities you’re planning in the coming months, this light, refreshing, sweet, and delicious sangria should definitely be on the menu!
