Who wants a warm, cheesy, melty, slightly spicy, buttery, and perfectly binge-able loaf of the most delicious bread? A loaf loaded with plenty of melted cheddar cheese and piquant, peppery, pickled jalapeños? A loaf that’s actually so simple to whip up and throw in the oven? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
Ok, I have to be honest with you guys… I’ve actually never, ever made anything with this type of jarred jalapeño before. And yet, I have this weird fascination with them. Maybe it’s because the taste – with the sharp combination of hot pepper and tangy vinegar – is kind of addicting. Or maybe it’s because I have a soft spot in my heart for Mexican-style nachos, with crunchy corn chips and plenty of spicy salsa and sour cream. Whatever it is, I’ll admit: I’m on a jalapeño kick lately.
And so I’m rolling with it. I decided to offset the hot, tangy, and spicy rounds with plenty of soft, creamy, melty cheese. Throw in some high-quality carbs – in the form of easy, peasy, premade pizza dough – and you’ve got yourself a meal (or a snack, if you’re not looking to indulge in the entire loaf). Call it an updated take on the classic nachos, if you’d like, but trust me – you’re gonna want to try this one!
